My Mama Taught Me…

Last year Mother’s Day snuck up on me and I needed to create a gift from my heart fast. I sat down at my typewriter and put the title “My Mama Taught Me…” at the top of the page, then I proceeded to list all the things I’ve learned from my mom. I mounted it on a pretty pink paper with a bow and hand delivered it to her with flowers. She loved it so much she called me often to thank me. My mom even shared it with her therapist who wanted a copy! (I think that was a good sign). This is a lucrative writing prompt that doubles as a special gift for moms, grandmothers, step-moms and mother-in-laws.
