Welcome! I’m Allison ~ writer, typewriter poet, songwriter, facilitator of Writing Circles and certified Spirit Coach.®

I offer writing circles, retreats and private nature writing sessions. I pride myself on keeping my apron filled with unusual tricks and techniques to support your particular creative genius to come out and play.

Whether you want to overcome writer's block or learn to quiet the inner critic and connect to your inner muse, I’m here to help bring fun and delight into your creative process.

I also offer Custom Typewriter Poems written on any one of my eight vintage typewriters. On random Sundays, you might find me click clacking on-the-spot personal poems for folks at the San Rafael Farmer’s market.

We had rented a cabin in Lake Tahoe for a family weekend in the snow. After a long week of work and school, we packed the old blue Ford truck with bags, sleds and kids. As soon as we hit the road, the traffic piled up and my husband grunted and cursed about the slow crawl while gripping the wheel.

I drag a chair next to my mother propped up in her bed with the guardrail keeping her secure. After years of gracefully dodging cancer, my mother now requires the daily care provided by an assisted-living facility. Today her face is peaceful, arms curled and folded over her distended belly as she breaths.
